Who will develop our future?
Once there lived a woman from a previously well educated family who made a garden based on her long experience of different methods of planting that she was skilled most about through her life as she wanted to put the method into practice. She named her garden ‘Ever Cultivation’. And she struck notices to boards of throughout the whole town, advertising that she would produce and distribute wonderful colourful flowers and plants from her garden to the town, and accept freely every one’s species to be crossbred into wonderful colourful flowers and plants with different smells and types. Therefore all the gardeners in the town gratefully sent their species, newly bloomed plants, and newly budded plants to her as they wished to see them as wonderful colourful flower plants. And the species and plants were gratefully very pleased themselves to be treated by that gardener as they wished to be the king of wonderful colourful flower plants. In fact, the method of crossbreeding was not easy in practical way as she first thought. In her first experiment, in that year, Hibiscus that was grown near the fence was successful with the large brightly colored flowers; the other plants in their origin of beauties such as bulbophyllum, rose, jasmine and orchid were not. So, she asked an accomplished gardener to help her and let him crossbreed the plants and care for them, and started for the second time. At that time, all the plants were successful with wonderful colourful flower plants as the new gardener was an expert, and the garden became well known to the town. All the plants with the brightly colored flowers were grateful to the new gardener for his benefits to them and they all preferred and valued the new gardener.
Many visitors and residents of the town who visited the garden and enjoyed the beauty of it congratulated the new gardener only, who was almost always happily busy with the flowery plants. Some thought the new gardener as the owner of the garden. And so the woman gardener disliked him and she was filled with up ill will as she worried that he would confiscate her garden. Then she tried to dismiss him in an unjust way. For the new gardener, he did not want to move even his one step from the flowery plants as he loved them so much. But, as he was not the owner of the garden, he would have to leave the garden if the owner would have dismissed him . He was so worried for their potential future that their future would be ruined in her only experiments. Ultimately he left the garden. This is all about the story.
But what should we do if we were the flowery plants in this story?
In fact, the youths are the flowers that have potential for the future. Everyone wants t o create his future to be better and better. As the youths, they want to mold or shape their future with creative thinking energetically. However, by hopefully believing just like the flowery plants in the garden, we should not give our future lives to the other people’s hands. Although our dreams will easily and quickly come true if we join the gardener who will train us well, our dreams will be easily destroyed and end if we join the female owner of the garden in the story. There are some people who become successful by the luck just like the hibiscus in the story- we should not hope to emulate this. And it is not very often that we will have chances to meet the experts. Therefore, as the youths, when we are walking towards our goals, we must be very mindful that we don’t become the other people’s guinea pigs just like the flowery plants in the story.

For the new gardener although he did not want to leave even his one step from the flowery plants which seemed to him as his family grown by his hardness, he had to leave the garden if the owner dismissed him as he was not the owner of the garden. But, he could not assure on their potential future that they would lose their future in her only experiments under such a poor knowledge gardener. However, he left the garden ultimately. This is all about the story.
