Narrative Discourse is an  important approach to explain the main idea of the  function of narration  which is to relate a sequence of events which have already happened and in this discourse things are arranged according to the order of steps.We use past simple active , passive , continuous and perfect to make narrative discourse and historcal ideas will be arranged chronogical order the old pictures should be arranged first.

Thank you Wanisa. I think this is an interesting way to teach and learn literature. What type of passages or books do you prefer when you are teaching with this approach?

When we teach Literature we can use Narrative Discourse to relate a sequence of events which have already happend in the text to help students to distinguish between discourses in the text.
