Funky English on Facebook recently had a vote to see which sandwich filling is the most popular! Lots of you voted, the final result was very close, and here are the results!

1st - Tuna (23%)

2nd - Cheese (20%)

3rd - Cheese and Marmite (16%)

So tuna fish was the winner! Why do you like tuna fish so much? Tuna fish is not only delicious, it can be had with many things, including mayonnaise, raisins, cucumber or sweetcorn.

Cheese was also very popular. Some of you liked simply cheese and bread, while some of you enjoy cheese with bread and Marmite! Marmite is a sandwich spread made from yeast - it's a dark brown paste with a very strong taste. The advertising slogan for Marmite is - You either love it or hate it! So how about you?
