What an amazing evening! I had just returned from an awesome Halloween party. I went as a headless zombie and I'm sure my costume was the best! My evening was spent with ghosts, witches, devils, skeletons and werewolves. It was time to sleep, even though I was still feeling excited. After taking a shower I got into my nice warm bed. I turned out the light and closed my eyes... BANG! What was that?!? I had just drifted off to sleep when a huge noise woke me up. There was a strange light in the room...
What happened next?

Use your imagination to complete this story. This week you should write a spooky Halloween story! What do you think happened next?

I take a little look and see my nephew... what are you doing here? I come to sleep with you... remember I have a key... Happy Halloween to you dear Aunt!!!

This is a very nice ending to the spooky story. I thought the laugh might be a scary laugh - but it wasn't! I think your nephew may have given you a fright on purpose. :)

Permalink Reply by Parapa Brahmsakha on October 24, 2012 at 14:39 I was too fear to see what happened in my room. My heart rate was faster than normal and the sweats covered my forehead. My pajamas soaked like I just took a shower even the air condition was at 25 degree Celsius. After I had heard the first noise, I still heard some noise continuously... I tried to sleep but it was very difficult. 5 minutes later, my patience was out! How can I sleep with something that I can't explain, I got out of my bed and walked around my room. Suddenly, I saw a light under my desk - the light from the eyes. Meow-Meow, my kitten was crying and scratching the desk's legs. Oops! I totally forget about my kitten that I always sleep with them maybe because I felt exhaust from my long day. It just slipped my mind.

I can't believe you got frightened by a kitten! :)
Sometimes when we are tired we imagine strange things. It sounds like your mind was playing tricks on you. You write very well Parapa. Thank you for taking part in this activity!

I could hear a grunting noise; one of those noises that is made when something large is forcing itself through something much much smaller.
'Everything alright there?' I asked hesitantly.
'ompf, huff, blerrrrrrrr, yeah, wont be a minute, ahhhblahhhhh' was the reply.
'ok, I'll put the kettle on then. You want one?' said I.
'Oh much obliged my good man, two sugars if you'd be so kind and something savoury to eat if it's not too much trouble'.
I duly went to the kitchen, made two cups of tea and luckily found a packet of BBQ Hula hoops. I returned to find a rather large chap, dressed in a nice red outfit, black boots and a white beard the size of a rose bush. He also had a large sack and was holding a torch. I handed him his tea and Hula hoops.
'Makes a change from Hobbits' I thought.
'Hello young man' said the big guy. 'Have you been a good boy?'
'Well I brush my teeth twice a day and I'm nice to cats' I replied. 'However, I do believe you have your dates mixed up sir, By about 2 months. Do you think you're getting a bit old for this game?'
'Ohhhhhh you're joking. Can't believe this iphone 5, the reminder feature on it's useless. My missus got it for me as an early Christmas present. I'm going to send it back and get myself a Nokia 100. So much easier to use'.
Santa finished his tea and placed the rest of the Hula hoops in his pocket. 'Well better head back home then. If I'm lucky I should miss the rush hour traffic. You don't mind if I use your front door? I can call Rudolph n his motley crew down from the roof.'
'Nah, not at all. See you in a few months. Oh and by the way, I would appreciate it if the socks you bring me aren't so pinkish in colour this time.'
'I'll see what I can do' he replied. 'If you're lucky, I might throw in some matching wooly gloves.' And with that he strolled on out.
I finished off my tea and went back to bed, knowing that I would have to hoover the dust up in the morning.

Thank you! That's a very funny story.
I wonder who the man in red was? He sounds familiar. :)

Haha. With a mind like that I reckon Timmy went on to be a politician. :)

Great videos! Thank you.
Those children made me laugh! The parents are so evil...
The skeleton is cool. I'm not sure if I'd be scared of him. :)

That's me! It would probably be a spider...

Hey... you've taken all the best actors for your story. You've just left me Nicholas Cage for my movie!
Does the Nokia building really have a nuclear bomb shelter? That's impressive.
I like your stories Vero! Keep them coming. :)
