I needed to go to the shopping centre to buy a gift for my best friend. She's getting married next week! I arrived at the shops with no idea what to buy her. I'd spent half an hour in a massive department store but found nothing interesting. Where should I go next? I decided to check out a small gift shop. It was a very unusual little shop, with lots of dusty antiques and strange old objects. I was quietly wandering around the shop when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned round and...

What happened next?

Inside the gift shop!

I turned round and I saw my best friend and her mom....   What a surprise!   What are you doing here, she said?  Oh, I just past by, I said.   Great!  At that time I saw something very special on a table.  It was gorgeous.  An lamp, a beautiful antique lamp.   My best friend also see it  and love it, so she bought it.  I was so disappointed.  I went back home with no gift....

I like it! This one made me laugh. What bad luck you had. :)

Thank you!!!

I am surprised to see my old class fellow Tom. we studied together at the secondary level .That was a sweet surprise for both of us . we embraced to each other. hi how are you Tom asked to me . I am quit well and so happy to see you .what are you doing here i asked him. what do you mean Mr i am the owner of this shop he replied . o really  this is a not a shocking news for me because  collecting the  antiques and strange old objects is his hobby from his childhood . So this shop is the result of your  hobby.i asked him . yes my bro you  are right Tom replied .  but what are you doing here he asked to me i told her about our mutual friend's marriage and also share my problem. He smiled and take me in a corner .

(what happened next now you people guess because this is my dinner time and my mom is calling i'll complete this story next day)

Very well written story Bushra. I look forward to finding out what happens next.

It's always nice to bump into old friends. :)

there was a Hobbit, holding a ring.

'Don't you look familiar' I said.

'Oh no, not you again!!' replied the Hobbit and with that he ran out of the shop, as quick as his little legs would carry him.

I shrugged and ended up buying some Elven bread as I was feeling a bit peckish; from the shopkeeper who had an interesting looking beard and stick.

You and your Hobbits. Is this one Hobbit following you around or a group of them taking turns?

Is Elven bread made from elves? Or made by elves?

Think it was the same Hobbit, sure he recognised me :)

I think the bread is made from cardboard, that's what it tasted like but if I ever see an Elf in Plymouth, I will ask.

I turned around and I say a little man dressed in green.  Can I help you, sir? he said.  I am looking for a gift for my best friend, she is going to be married in a few days, and I am looking for something special, I said.  I see, follow me, he said.  I follow him to the back store.  It was dark.  He took a small box on his desk and he gave it me.  It is a wish box, he said.  Gives it to her and she can ask three wishes.  Good luck, he said.  I went home with the little box....

I'd love to have 3 wishes. My first wish would probably be to have 50 more wishes! I'm not sure that it would work but I'd try. Your writing is very good Coco!

If you had 3 wishes is an excellent idea for a discussion actually. :)

This is the end of my story....     In the morning of the wedding, I went to give the little box to my best friend and I told her that she can make three wishes.  She asked a wedding dress like Cinderella and she had it.  Then she asked for a castle like Cinderella and she had it and... she asked for a pumpkin...  Why a pumpkin, I asked her.   Because I want Cinderella carriage, she said.....    You already asked  for your three wishes now so I think you will have to eat the pumpkin, I said.....   The end !

I am sure all the guests at the wedding had delicious pumpkin soup!
