Under the weather!
Junior: Are you coming to the cinema with us tonight?
Stan: No I'm not. I'm feeling a little under the weather!
Under the weather - this English idiom means to feel poorly or ill. It is usually used when somebody is not seriously ill, just feeling a little run down or very tired.
Permalink Reply by coco on June 21, 2012 at 15:26 The weather was very hot yesterday and today it seems to going to be a little hot too, so I am feeling under the weather this morning. :) It was 32 degrees celcius yesterday.

That sounds very hot! I hope you feel better soon.
Permalink Reply by coco on June 21, 2012 at 18:04 Thank you. The weather will be less hot tomorrow. I don't like hot weather but it is not always like that... :) Have a nice day.... Last day of school today for the children, they will be in vacation all summer tomorrow... :)

Thanks Coco! The children are so lucky - such a nice long holiday!
