Thank you Coco!
The museum is an incredible place. I have never seen...
In your 3rd sentence we should say There are some small and some big paintings on the wall. When we use a lot with people we should use There are... Many people are taking some pictures.
Do you know what they are taking a picture of? There's a very famous painting in that museum!
Very well described Coco. :)
Permalink Reply by coco on October 18, 2012 at 21:25 Thank you for the correction! Maybe, the Mona Lisa, it is a famous painting....

You got it. :)
Permalink Reply by coco on October 18, 2012 at 21:53 Thanks! It is the only painting that comes in my mind... I don't know any one else famous name. :)
Permalink Reply by Joy Surangsee on October 18, 2012 at 14:01 What's happening in this hall? Many people are taking photos of something - maybe the greatest art work, I think. Yes, this place is the world famous Louvre Art Museum in Paris, France. There are four big and four small paintings on the wall beside and behind the people. Thus, the thing in front of them must be the most fantastic art work, surely.

Thank you for your comments Joy. You write English very well.
You are right of course - they are taking photos of the most famous work of art in the world. Have you ever been to France Joy?

You have never been here before? I think you will surely get a chance to visit one day in the future. Almost all the pictures in this museum are about Christianity. Christianity is an important part of the history or Europe.

Permalink Reply by Tammy on October 19, 2012 at 23:45 The Louvre Art Museum has become a symbol of art. I think it can be compared only with St. Petersburg’s Hermitage Museum. In this picture we can see lots of visitors who are definitely great lovers of art. I guess they are in the Painting Department, in the room of Renaissance Art where MONA LISA by Leonardo da Vinci is displayed. And they are taking photos of this masterpiece.

You are correct Tammy! They are taking photos of the Mona Lisa. Have you ever been to the Louvre Museum?
What is the most famous painting in the Hermitage Museum?
Your writing is excellent Tammy. You described the scene perfectly. :)

Of course. Very well written sentences. :)
The objects of the paintings are human from old century. We would usually say from centuries ago or from the olden days.
They look focused and enthusiastic. I am sure they got some great photos of the Mona Lisa. I didn't get one, I could not be bothered to fight through the crowd!
