There is also a small green one near the red one. These are my sentences, thanks.

Thanks Coco!
This building is actually a castle - Hedingham Castle. I think it might be he smallest castle I've ever been inside.
In sentence number 2 we don't need to use the article a with lots of. There are lots of... In your third sentence it might be better to say ...3 different shades of brown. Sentence 4 must be changed to outdoors. Your 5th sentence is written very nicely. The red car is a very powerful sports car. Do you know what type of car it is?
Great sentences again Coco. Well done. :)
Permalink Reply by coco on September 17, 2012 at 12:02 Thanks for the correction. I don't really know this type of car because I see just the front, it is maybe a Camaro...

I think it was a Lotus Esprit.
Permalink Reply by coco on September 18, 2012 at 9:23 Thank you! I didn't know this kind of name of car...

Permalink Reply by Gertraud Müller on September 13, 2012 at 20:16 1 I would say behind the cars is a small castle with a flag blowing in the wind .
2 On the left side is a new red car. I guess it is an expensive sports-car.
3 It seems to be a sunny day . The sunlight is reflecting on the cars.
4 There are some sunsheades between the cars, probably it is hot.
5 I think some of the cars are old and some are expensive. What is a car show ? Can you buy the cars or just watch them ? Please let me know when I have bad mistakes , Thank you Teacher

Very well written sentences Gertraud!
You are correct - there is a very small castle behind the cars - Hedingham Castle. The red car does look very modern but I think it was about 15 years old! I think it would still be very expensive today. Sentence number 4 should read - There are some sunshades between the cars, it is probably hot. It was actually a very hot day.
At a car show you can see all different types of cars. One or two might be for sale but most of them are just on show. People who love cars (petrol heads) just love to meet and chat about classic cars. Other people - like me - just enjoy looking at these beautiful cars. This car show was a classic car and supercar show. I love classic cars like the green Ford in the picture.
Thank you. :)

Permalink Reply by Gertraud Müller on September 17, 2012 at 20:36 Thank you for your friendly comment. I agree with you the green one is very nice. My car is also old but not so lovely like the green one :)
We have also car shows here with expensive old cars. We often use the expression Oldtimer for this cars. It sounds English but it isn't , I think antique or classic care would work.

We usually call them classic cars. I like the expression oldtimer - however we'd usually use that for elderly people!

Thanks Vero! I'll check your sentences for plurals carefully. :)
In your first sentence we would usually say The sky is clear and blue. In England we would usually say The sky is dark and grey. :) It was nice to see the blue sky again!
Your second sentence is very descriptive! Its shape is a simple tetragon... Tetragon is a great word. Did you know it or need to look it up? This castle could be used as a prison. It had a very big dungeon inside!
The castle's yard is surrounded by... The cars seem to come from... You did very well to notice the number plates! Actually these number plates are either very old or private plates. It's not possible to tell very much from them. Usually we know what year the car is or where it comes from just by looking at the plate.
I can't find a single mistake with plurals. Well done! Excellent writing again...

You're welcome. It's always good to know that you are making progress!
The castle wasn't very scary in real life. It was very small though! I think it would be a good place for a wedding. :)

1) There are no clouds on the sky, no garbages on the ground and no one in the cars.
2) Red cars seem to be the most popular in this car show.
3) The high building behind the cars looks very ancient, is it the castle of long-haired princess?
4) It was a beautiful sunny day but there aren't many people visiting this car show.
5) The tree in front of the building attract my attention, its shape looks like a whale.
