Sit on the fence!
Larry: Did you see the argument between Peter and Bob yesterday? Who was to blame?
Mandy: I'm sitting on the fence! I don't want to get involved in their argument.
Sit on the fence or On the fence- this English idiom means that you don't make a decision or choice, you do not take sides, you remain neutral.
It's easy to imagine somebody actually sitting on a fence and not wanting to fall onto either side. This might help you remember the meaning.

Neutral is the right way to describe this idiom. In fact I'm going to add it do the description! Thank you.
I don't like taking sides either, but sometimes in life we have to choose!
