Taz: You go up the apples and pears and turn left! It will be right in front of you.

 

Apples and pears - English rhyming slang for stairs.

Rhyming slang is when we replace one word with another that has the same sound. In this example pears rhymes with stairs. English rhyming slang is usually used by people from the East End of London. These people are called Cockneys.
